Headed back to the Haughton yesterday afternoon with Dad. The neap tides made for some very clear water! Its always a pleasure casting lures in clean water, the white 3in prongs almost appear to have a halo around them! We fished from about 2pm until 6pm and managed 8 or so nice health Rat Barra. Unfortunately the biggest went 56cm! They are still a lot of fun on light spin gear and a healthy sigh for the future.
The water temp is rising and the tides are starting to build. This week should be a good one to be in the creeks.
