Dad went for a fish in one of the smaller creeks yesterday afternoon. Just tossing plastics from the bank in search of a Barra or two. He managed to land his first keeper, a nice 69cm specimen. But not before dropping two other. One bricked him as he had forgotten to set the drag, and the second, a big fish, straightened the hooks.
