The boat ramp issue was again raised in today's Townsville Bulletin. This time Sunfish spokesperson Brian Pickup is photographed launching a petition calling on the State Government to provide a new recreational boating facility. But hold on! Isn't someone already running a petition? Oh yeah, WE ARE! Its this kind of divided action that I spoke about in my last rant that will, in the long run, likely cost us this new ramp! The least Brian and Sunfish could have done is contact the FishingTownsville.net team to establish what we were up to and find ways to help. Why run a petition in competition with another petition? It just divides the number of signatures.
