This underwater footage came to me today from a mate who works at GBRMPA. Apparently the Shark Shoal mark is actually an old wooden trawler. The footage isn't great quality, and is a few years old, but it gives you an idea of what the bottom actually looks like around these shoal/wreck marks.
The image below is a multibeam acoustic of the same location. Apparently the trawler is bang in the middle of the image.
